JUAKALI:
Juakali is the resident MC of New York City's premier Dubstep event; Dub War, and the internationally fueled bass driven Sub Swara. This year alone he has been featured on tunes by Uk Dub Heavyweights Alpha & Omega, Bristol's dubstep legend Pinch,Badawi, Kode 9,NYC's Dhruva and SubSwara Crew, and many other groundbreaking producers. He continues to tour and play continually, even performing at last years World Cup halftime show between Trinidad and Tobago, where he originally grew up.

In 1993 he joined up with mahad mahan and unda privledged in the bay area and established the Jamaica Natural Label. Many releases later, this man paves the future of dancehall music.

Getting an early start as a child, Sukh began learning the harmonium when he was only 7 years old. Jagtar:
A San Francisco East Bay Native, Jagtar the dholi started playing dholak at the age of seven. He continued his dhol education under the great Lal Singh Bhatti and has been banging dhol at parties all over California. A fierce player and precise man, he himself is starting production and will be a force to contend with. Look for him all over Bhang Ragga and the upcoming eps where his mad dholak came to use. |

Robin Sukhadia:
Robin Sukhadia studies tabla under the great Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, and has recently shifted his studies to Cal Arts to further his music and composition development. This man is a very original and unique tabla player, as exemplified by his project Field (wwww.cpcarts.org/field): A collaboration with instrument instrument inventor Kitundu (www.kitundu.com). He recently returned from a journey to Bengal and Gujarat, India, on behalf of Project Ahimsa, a foundation focused on developing music education initiatives for impoverished communities ravaged by violence. He plays with J. Boogie as well as with Kush in a variety of tracks and live settings. |

Aaron Hegg:
Aaron Hegg and Kush Teamed up together in audio engineering school, and worked together at Sound Mountain doing sounds together for Lord of the Rings 3, and other games and films. Aaron plays the bass, guitar, and adds his incredible mixing skills to much of the production work done at the studio, as well as gigging live playing guitar and bass.The man is a ridiculous engineer, drummer, bassist, guitarist, keyboardist, and more digging his hands into interesting works all around. |
